Kirwin National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to see prairie wildlife and wildflowers. Early morning or just before sunset are the best times to observe wildlife. Enjoy walking, hiking, fishing, hunting, bicycling, and/or driving the Refuge.
"Kansas' Biggest Rodeo" was first held in 1929 and is held annually on the last weekend in July or first weekend in August. Save the Dates: August 1-3, 2024
The Geographic Center of the Lower 48 States is located north of Lebanon, Kansas. A monument was erected in an opening ceremony on June 29, 1941, in Lebanon, Kansas, for what was then the Geographic Center of the entire country, before Alaska and Hawaii joined the union.
